Saint Peter 2011 Wallace Sterling Christmas Ornament 1st Edition.  This is a new series started by Wallace Silversmiths called “The Saints Series”.  These ornaments are made of Sterling Silver, and will feature a different Saint each year.  The 2011 is the first edition and has Saint Peter on both sides.  They will each be hallmarked by maker and year.

Peter's life story relies on the four Canonical Gospels, The Book of Acts, New Testament Letters, Non-Canonical Gospels such as the Gospel According to the Hebrews and other Early Church accounts of his life and death. In the New Testament, he is among the first of the disciples called during Jesus' ministry. It was during his first meeting with Jesus that Jesus named him Peter. Peter was to become the first Apostle ordained by Jesus in the early church.

The size of this ornament is about  4" High X 2-3/4" Wide.  The Wallace Saints Series started in 2011.  This is the 1st Edition  It is double sided.  It is marked Wallace, Sterling, 2011.  This Sterling Silver Ornament is in Excellent like new collectible condition.  Comes with all original packaging, pouches and certificates.  The Ornament has a place for a hook to hang on your tree.
