Angel Sterling Christmas Ornament 2011 Wallace Grande Baroque 11th Edition.  The term "angel" has also been expanded to various notions of spiritual beings found in many other religious traditions.  Angels are messengers of God in the Hebrew Bible, the New Testament and the Quran.  Other roles of angels include protecting and guiding human beings, and carrying out God's tasks.

The Grande Baroque pattern was part four, of a six part pattern released from 1934-1950, by Wallace Silversmiths, called the “Third Dimension Beauty collection” all of them designed by William S. Warren. These patterns are called “three Dimension” because the design of these patterns, are apparent from the front, back, or profile.  The design crowned by the acanthus leaf (acanthus leaf), includes classic symbols of the Renaissance period.

The size of this ornament is about  4-1/4" High X 2-1/2" Wide.  The Wallace Angel Series started in 2001.  It is double sided.  It is marked Wallace, Sterling, 2011.  This Sterling Silver Ornament is in Excellent like new collectible condition.
